Matt Allen - Principal Engineer/ Director
Matt Allen is a Process and Engineering Manager and Consultant with experience in the mining and minerals processing sector. Experience to date has included lead roles on large scale projects such as Anvil Hill, BHP Mount Arthur North, BMA Blackwater, BHP Direct Reduced Iron and BHPB PT Maruwai projects. With an initial operational grounding on sites with BHP and MIM, extensive process, project, operation and supervisory experience was gained.
As a current director of Process Consult, responsibilities include management of an engineering consultancy that offers safe, efficient, compliant and effective solutions to the mining and processing industry. The consultancy offers services ranging from concept development, feasibility study design and development, detailed design, construction, commissioning, operations and optimisation. Process Consult has manning of over 25 personnel, experienced in delivery of smaller and larger scale projects.
With an exceptional track record in the delivery of projects, Matt is able to provide the necessary planning, co-ordination, engineering and leadership skills to ensure an efficient, value for money solutions are achieved for coal handling and preparation plant operations. Currently, responsibilities include monitoring of the BHP Billiton Maruwai Project Selection and Definition Studies and co-ordination of the BMA Peak Downs and Caval Ridge CHPP Expansion Selection Phase.
Stephen Wilmot - Principal Engineer/ Director
Stephen Wilmot is a Process Engineer and Manager with eight (8) years experience in the mining and minerals processing sector. Experience to date has included roles on projects such as BHPB PT Maruwai project (Indonesia), Anvil Hill (Australia) and Cameby Downs (Australia), Tashan (China), Yanzishan (China), Tata Steel Washery Upgrades (India). Experience includes Greenfield project feasibility, design projects, plant upgrades, equipment supply and commissioning.
As a current director of Process Consult, Stephen is responsible for an engineering consultancy that offers safe, efficient, compliant and effective solutions to the mining and processing industry. Process Consult offers services ranging from concept development, feasibility study design and development, detailed design, construction, commissioning, operations and optimisation.
Stephen is able to provide the necessary planning, co-ordination, engineering and leadership skills to ensure an efficient, value for money solution to coal handling and preparation plant operations. Stephen's accountability is coal quality, process design, equipment selection and specification, and the development of the required documentation.
Grant Cowie - Design Office Coordinator
As Design Office Coordinator, responsibilities include management and administration of design drafting standards, philosophies, systems, techniques, training, assistance and mentoring. Grant is responsible for all design drafting personnel, documental control and information technology for the group.
Grant has extensive experience in the minerals industries of both Australia and South Africa. Previous experience includes lead positions on major design projects including the Blackwater and Mount Arthur North Projects.
As Design Office Coordinator, Grant's responsibilities include supervision of site and plant layout options, process and mechanical option drafting and time management of drafting personnel committed to the project.
